Stopped here traveling on I-70 for lunch. I had 1/2 slab ribs and the others in my group had beef brisket. Both were excellent. I didn’t care for the baked beans, but the others in my group liked it. Restaurant service was quick and friendly. The restaurant also was decorated appropriately for BBQ. Nice stop and goof break from the chain restaurants.
The food was DELICIOUS!! We are all picky eaters and usually cook, so it was so nice and comforting to eat great food that we didn’t have to prepare or be concerned about when we were focusing on our family member. The ribs were smoked properly and fell off the bone. The corn bread was the perfect consistency and sweetness. The sweet potato casserole is one of the best things on the menu. Overall, we couldn’t of been happier. Thank you to everybody at Rudy’s!
The food was hot and tastes exactly like it did at our tasting when we booked. Bill was always there to talk to. They ordered special china for me to go with my decor. Very professional. The price is great for small budgets but I swear it was better food than other weddings I’ve been to who spent twice as much as we did!
We were on our way back to Chicago from Columbus, OH and saw the sign for Rudy’s Smokehouse. My husband and I really thought the brisket was delicious! We both thought the whole meal was good. The beans and coleslaw were tasty. We got our food to go and the service was fast and friendly. We will definitely stop there again when we are travelling.
